To say I could have spent hours capturing these two is an understatement. I could have spent the whole day. They are so genuinely sweet, kind, and IN LOVE! What a dream to capture these first time parents as they await their baby girl entering this world. We loved walking around their property and seeing what ideas I could find. It was so hard to narrow down these sneak peeks for the blog. I wanted to post every single one.

I have really enjoyed photographing this beautiful girl every 3 months leading up to her cake smash. She's a ham and super easy to photograph. I feel so lucky their parents asked me to document her first year and look forward to capturing more for them. Annabelle you are so easy to make smile and such a joy to be around.

One of my very first cake smashes was this sweet pea's big sister Autumn. I just adore this family. I can't imagine if I thought Savannah's first year flew by, what do her parents and family think!? I could have sworn I was just taking her newborn pictures. I'll post some of my favorites below.

For it being the one day that week it was cold and little sun, this little beauty rocked her session. Her favorite part? Clearly the cake smash! Aren't her eyes and smile just amazing? Also please note her adorable vintage attire. Simply beautful. Gorgeous princess crowns by LITTLEPRETTIESSHOP on Instagram.

When I first started chatting with Jaymie about her upcoming family shoot, I couldn't help but feel super relaxed and excited. I adored her from just speaking to her, so when I finally got to meet her, I almost had to remind myself you actually hadn't met her in person before. She's down to earth and obviously gorgeous and her husband and daughter complete her. I truly enjoyed every moment of fighting for smiles and coming up with different shot ideas in my head. Freddy is an amazing father and so patient and Adelynn is beyond beautiful that even just her staring at me face was fine by me. Below are some of my favorites.

When one of your new dearest friends asks you to take her daughters senior pictures, you feel so honored and jump at the chance. When this new wonderful friend is also an amazing photographer you look up to, well it's totally normal that you feel butterflies in your stomach and a nervous energy begins. That's exactly all that happened when Jennifer Hess of Whimsical Moments by Jennifer Hess reached out and asked me to capture this special time in her daughter Alexis' life. Jennifer and I basically keep discovering that we are the same person, okay that's extreme but we are truly so alike that I can only hope and pray I have a daughter as amazing as Alexis someday. I absolutely love and adore her spirit and her energy. She's the person you want around you if you are feeling down because just her presence in your life lifts your mood and plants a smile back on your face. She has her Mother's heart but is also so unique all on her own. Truly the beauty you are about to see below, I promise you is matched with the beauty that is inside her. Alexis you are going to change the world and I feel blessed to know you as you start the next chapter of your life. And to my dear friend Jen, you have raised an amazing AMAZING daughter. I wish I would have met you both a long time ago, but know I'm blessed to know you now and for forever.
