The second Jordynn smiled and waved at me as I approached, I thought oh my gosh her beauty shines from the outside in and inside out. Meaning her sweetness and beauty could be seen so easily. She was glowing already with happiness and love for Aaron and we hadn't even started shooting yet. And then instantly seeing Aaron and Jordynn with each other, I realized this shoot was going to be magic. I WAS NOT WRONG! Sorry I'm not yelling, I'm just excited to share some of my favorites because honestly their entire session was indeed magic. Filled with such love and beauty, each shot I took, I had to tell myself to stop saying "oh my gosh that's perfection" or something like that, over and over again. I mean but are they not the most gorgeous couple??

I have two people in my life who know me & love me like a sister. Who have been there for me since I was a young dorky teenager. This Mama right here is one of them. I'd be lost without her. I text her daily and we are Aunties to each others kids. Her strength and beauty can so easily be seen and what's so special for me is I now see that beauty and strength in her children. They radiate joy and her husband is her best friend and partner in crime (other than me of course). This family is just one of the cutest around and I'm blessed to know and love them all.

So genuine & loving this bunch is. I have enjoyed capturing them a few times now. Aren't they all so good looking? Sometimes it can be overwhelming to have so many people around when you are trying to capture clients, but there is something about Old Town Temecula that is just so fun and cool. I love shooting there, just neverrrrrr on a weekend. Then I'd be there with all of Temecula. I joke, sort of, but not really. Below are some of my favorites and of course we had to end the shoot on the gorgeous Old Town bridge.

I'm pretty sure sweet Stella never once woke up. If she did, it took me a quick second or so to get her right back to sleep. Seriously she was a dream. I adore this family so much and this shoot was extra wonderful to capture. This is the 3rd baby bump I've captured for them. I cannot put into words how special that is to me. I simply LOVE watching a family grow right in front of my camera. And what's so beautiful is that every session I do for them is somehow better than the last. In case you didn't know, I do weddings with one of my best friends. We've known each other since 7th grade! We love getting to capture love and doing so side by side. We make each other laugh and she's the ying to my yang. So check us out sometime.

This beautiful couple was a complete joy for me to photograph. They made my job easy and we laughed just about the whole time. They are stunning. I mean look at them...are they photogenic or what?! They let me lead with prompts but also just embraced their love for one another and had fun. We cannot wait for their wedding in March.

Our sons are 10 days apart. Our daughters both loves dolls & barbies. I can tell my beautiful friend pretty much anything without judgement. She's dedicated & loyal. This is honestly one of the kindest families! I don't think any of them could take a bad picture if they tried. Little Oliver was one of my first cake smashes 4 years ago. It's amazing to see him so big. Big sister Abigail is a natural model, my goodness! But this shoot, aside from some updated family and kids pictures was about one year old Emmaline. What a perfect addition to this family. Such a sweet pea and when Daddy played this one song on his phone, it cracked her up and her personality came alive. It cracked me up. Life has been quite busy and I've been slacking on blogging but I HAD to take the time and blog about this smiley baby boy. Carter was 5 pounds 4 ounces during his shoot so I really enjoyed posing his tiny little self. The best part about his shoot was his facial expressions! He would make the funniest pouting or serious faces, expressive eyebrows and all...BUT then smile so big and for so long my heart would melt. Meet my son Jackson's best friend Ryker. Ryker just so happens to be the son of one of my best friends. They are a month apart. The first set of photos are too cute to not have shared. They are from a recent BFF shoot I had to have the boys do.

Now onto Ryker's cake smash...which was AMAZING. His Mama went all out for the set ups and to say I was impressed is a complete understatement. Below are some of my favorites. We did the shoot at The Humphreys Estate, which is such a beautiful place to capture memories. All props were provided by Ryker's Mama & grey stool made by my talented husband. Delicious cake smash cake provided by Flour House Bakery. I cannot believe this cutie is now a 1 year old. He lights up a room and has the best personality. Auntie loves you Ryker, Happy 1st Birthday.

This was hands down one of the most special shoots I have ever been a part of. When I got a text from Matt saying he wanted to propose, I wasn't surprised at all. I was totally thinking he would and hoping he would as that would be beyond awesome to capture! I photographed his stunning, now fiance, a year ago as a nursing graduate. She's stunning, hands down, knows exactly what to do in front of the camera. Her joy and happiness and love for Matt was so easy to document thru my lens. And then once the ring was on, it was such a romantic engagement shoot. One I'll always remember. Congrats you two!

Senior sessions are so fun to me. I'm obsessed with posing and love when the ice is broken and I get to capturing who they really are. But Samantha pretty much made this session so easy from the beginning. Her posing was on point, I rarely had to help her because I always ended up loving what she did. The last session for one of my milestone clients is always bittersweet. I mean I know I will be photographing this beautiful family again in the future but it's such a special thing to see someone's little one every 3 months watching them grow and learn. Danika has been an extra special client for me because she was my last newborn client before I had my little boy last year. I find such joy in photographing for my friends, especially when it's of their cute kiddos. My close friend, owner of Kenzie's Corner Kidwear & Laser Focused Engraving, had her precious baby boy Liam, exactly two weeks after I had my baby boy. So I had to venture out of my house, where I spent my time snuggling my sweet Jackson, to snap some pictures of Liam! And it was worth it because oh my gosh he is so cute. I was in love the moment I held him. Also within the first second Tammy placed him in my arms, I noticed how strong he was and how heavy compared to my son. Seriously he's a strong ball of sweetness. When one of your best friends is pregnant at the same time as you, you obviously demand to take the maternity photos. But really she's my wedding photography partner so it was just a given we would do each others photos. She wanted to go to Balboa Park, so I brought my husband along to assist. We had a blast exploring and shooting at a new location. I grew up in San Diego and hadn't been to Balboa Park since my college days. I forgot how much I loved it there. It was so fun to be creative and laugh the entire shoot. I took these photos almost two months ago & their sweet little boy has already made his appearance and to say I'm in love with him is an understatement. I can't wait to officially meet him and then have our boys meet and be best friends for life. Tony & Shaz I love you two and little R so much. My last newborn session before I get to meet my baby boy this Summer. So bittersweet. If you know me well you know I'm obsessed with photographing maternity and newborn sessions, especially cuddling little babies and setting up each photo op. It's so much fun for me but with my growing belly it was getting too hard. I first have a give a huge shoutout to my assistant Alexis who literally let me hold her hand to walk, get up of the ground, move in weird positions, etc. She helped sooth sweet Danika and made this session go smoothly so thank you Lex! Now back to Danika, my oh my was she a dream baby to photograph. Once I got her into a deep sleep she was great to pose even with random wind blowing about and moving her ever so often. And yep you guessed it, her cheeks killed me! Gosh baby cheeks get me every time. She's a little beauty that's for sure and below are some of my favorites from her session. I have to say watching her Daddy love on her and tend to her needs warmed my heart. Danika has the most amazing and loving parents.
