I love that when Kaelynn sees me she knows she can run to me and jump in my arms for the biggest hug ever. I know how blessed I am that I've been photographing her for over a year. She is the epitome of love. So sweet, so full of life, so so beautiful. To see her with her little brother has been so special too. Austin is going to be the luckiest little brother ever to have K as his sister and vice versa. Austin was a trooper for the cold wind that came swirling in. I told his Mama when I look at him, I see my little brother 27 years ago. His dark amazing eyes, those cheeks, and his smile. Truly so photogenic.

I first met Abigail a few years back when I helped her and her sweet Mama with her wedding invites. Finding out she was a hairstylist I instantly knew I could trust you with my hair. If you just laughed, don't! I'm serious about my hair, when more than one person does a bad job on your long locks, you lose trust. Abigail is my official hair dresser and stylist, even did my wedding day hair...I basically can't say enough good things about her; she's lovely. Her heart is so big and her kindness stretches far. Watching her be such a natural Mother only 6 hours after birth, I was in awe. She also has one awesome hubby by her side who I was so happy to finally meet. Together they make a great pair and little perfect Havana already has them both wrapped around her precious little finger.

When you lose someone you loved more than anything but never got to know, it does something to you. Your heart hurts in a way it never has before. You have to reach inside yourself to find the strength to press on. If you haven't been following my page for long then let me introduce you to Jenifer. She lost her sweet baby girl over half way thru her pregnancy. They have no idea what happened. Jenifer has been through a lot but that inner strength she found keeps her going. Her love for her daughter keeps her loving. Her heart is not hardened, if anything, it is bigger than its ever been. I had an idea to do a shoot all about a woman's character...Jenifer's character. She is so much more than strength and beauty...she is powerful, wise, loving, and unbreakable.

My Valentines mini sessions came to end with this one shown below as my last one. I'm so happy they were so popular and truly loved every session. This beauty, Rihanna, let me pose her lots and spend a little extra time with my props that my husband made for me. I almost didn't want the kissing booth to end. It was just too fun! But until next year. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see some of my favorites from each session.

Some of my favorites from each other session.

Our first session was canceled because sweet little 9 month old Katelynn got sick. Its been going around lately and breaks my heart anytime I hear a little one is sick. I know Karina, Katelynn's Mom, was sooo bummed to have to wait longer for their session. But I think it was worth the wait because it sure was beautiful at 1pm in the forest for their session. We fought hard for smiles and everybody sure was patient and so so loving. They are such wonderful parents. To only be 9 months old and have that much love already, man it made my heart happy to witness. I love seeing families loving one another. Thank you Hardee family for coming from Carlsbad to have me capture some moments for them. I honestly cannot wait for you to see all of the images, but below are some favorites.
