Smoky fire air didn't stop us from having fun at this shoot. Almost 2 year Mary is what I call an explorer. She didn't want to sit still for pictures and honestly that is fine by me. That's a child at this age, she wanted to explore and see and feel everything. It was so hilarious to just watch her go so fast from one thing to the next. Reminded me of when my nephew started walking and no longer wanted to sit for his Auntie to take pictures of his cute self. Mary's parents were so patient and kind. I could see such love for their daughter in their eyes and the way they interacted with her. I truly enjoyed this session. Some of my favorites are below.

Get ready for 5 pounds and 10 ounces of pure sweetness. Dominic was a rockstar baby, pretty much slept the entire time even as his older brother and sister played nearby. Occasionally he would open up his eyes real slow, hearing their voices as they ran around the forest, but other than that & quick feeds, he slept. He has a great head of hair, the cutest little thin lips, button nose, and when he smiled at the very end of the session while nestled on his Daddy's motorcycle I was in Heaven. Here are some favorites below.

Oh man I completely adore this family! Ian and Erika are laid back, sweet, and loving and their kids are drop dead gorgeous. I can't wait to see how handsome little Colt will be. It was an absolute joy to be extra silly for smiles and just to laugh and have fun with this family. Erika is one of those women that shine from the inside out. I can tell her heart is as beautiful as her smile. She is a natural in front of the camera and Ian her handsome hubs, has such love for her and his little ones, you could see it from miles away. Huge thanks to Two Sisters Farms for always having such a beautiful little property to capture memories at.

I have to say this has got to be one of the most alert newborn babies I have ever photographed. My assistant, who happens to be my amazing business partner and best friend, was cracking up as Miss Lily would follow my camera and every move with her big gorgeous eyes. She did it with such focus I couldn't even believe she wasn't even a week old yet. Something I should warn you about, it may sound strange but prepare yourself to fall in love with her cheeks. I'm not even kidding, her cheeks are the cutest thing ever! Even as I was editing, I kept saying "aww", so much in fact my husband would look over and go "awww". Lily wasn't interested in sleeping but that was fine by me, like I said she would follow me a lot so I love the wide eyed stares I got.

These are true blue Lae_Lo Photography & Design clients and it has been a joy watching little Miss Emma grow this past year. Being able to photograph her so much and seeing how she learns and the funny things she says just makes me heart melt. She gave me a hug when I arrived to this shoot and announced "Oh Lo what a great big camera you have"...and "Oh Lo I love your necklace, want to see mine?" Honestly I told her parents I could listen to her all day. I love that Emma's Mommy, Amber, brought different sign decor to add to the session. It was perfect.
