I knew the moment I started talking to Julie that I wanted to be the one to capture this amazing time in her and her husbands life. The excitement, the joy, the love... it's truly a beautiful time & a moment they will want to remember forever. This session was so romantic and loving and special. It was fun seeing new ideas and coming up with different things as well as having so much of their own vision in mind. I seriously had way too many favorites, so I left out a bunch. I cannot wait to capture photos of sweet little Ellie when she gets here next month. 

When Arron whispered in my ear "I'm going to propose" just seconds before starting our shoot, I promise you my heart skipped a beat. As much as I wanted to smile from ear to ear, I knew I had to play it cool. Even Chelsea turned around and asked "What did he say?" I replied so smoothly and calm, "he was sharing how to win over Madelynn". Madelynn is their daughter and is so shy. I thought I was so clever to have said that. Chelsea seemed to buy it too and I quickly got them to stand by this huge tree that fell down and told her I wanted to test my lighting and camera settings real fast. I had asked Madelynn if she would come help me so I could take a picture of Mom and Dad first but nope, she wanted to stay glued to Mom's hand. So Arron laughed and knew it was now time for him to propose. I was completely honored to have this be my first proposal. Chelsea was beaming the rest of the shoot as you can see from the pictures. Congrats you guys!

I have to say I was excited for this family shoot the minute their sweet little girls got out of the car and I saw their outfits. I'm a sucker for vintage fun outfits for little ones. Isn't this seriously one good looking family? I had so much fun trying to get smiles and little man's attention. I say it a lot but my job really isn't a job to me, its completely fun and rewarding.
