Poor Alisson was not having it the day of her cake smash. Not interested in anything and just wanted to be held. Her mother and I, with help from big brother, did all we could to get her thru it. She's so lucky she's so cute and a natural beauty because I still got some sweet shots. I had to throw in some teary eyed shots too because she still looks so stinkin' cute in them. She will look back on these photos someday...laugh and love having the memories to look at.

I think my favorite thing about this shoot was not just how obviously radiant Laura's mother to be glow was but hearing her boys excitement over seeing the horses. This family is true Texas and so we had to choose this location for their maternity shoot as they excitedly look forward to introducing another little boy to the family.

I adore this sweet sweet family and I'm privileged to call them my dear friends. When they asked me to do a lifestyle session at their home, I didn't hesitate. First of all, I love lifestyle shoots because I get to be some sort of paparazzi and follow families around capturing their everyday routine. Secondly, its the Hagan family, I love them! I usually don't post this many for a blog but there was just too many I adored.
