Lucas was such an easy newly one year old to please. Well, except when he got too dirty for the cake smash. But besides that, I was still able to capture his adorable self and his pup Dixie even got to be in some shots, so special! He truly did have such a sweet demeanor, just like his gorgeous Mama. Below are some of my favorites. The lighting at Harveston Lake was scrumptious.

I simply adore Ester's heart and love for not only her family but others. I feel so honored that she spotted me setting up for a newborn shoot and walked across the park to ask me if I was a family photographer. When she called me a week ago, I jumped at the chance to fill a last minute spot to see her and her beautiful little family again. Not just her little family this time, but some of her extended family. I have said before and will continue saying so, it is so important for your children and the younger generations to get your family together, immediate and extended, and have pictures captured. My parents photo albums I have at my house... I absolutely cherish. Don't just capture your photos, print them, put them in albums. Those are what your loved ones will look back on.

I couldn't be more thrilled with all the smiles I got from Elias! He finally liked me and my camera. I honestly couldn't stop smiling and giggling with each adorable face of his I captured. Such a sweet, happy, and loving little boy. I cannot wait to capture him at 9 months and a year so that I can keep watching his personality and little self grow. Below are some of my favorites.
